Hanon has teamed up with Reebok to release an updated version of their Newport Classic. First introduced in the 80s, the shoe has stood the test of time due in large part to its clean silhouette and simple design.
The two piece collection includes blue and beige colorways of the shoe, each features a two-piece upper, plush pig suede with glove leather lining, and semi-translucent milk rubber outsoles. Each style is assembled using an existing Reebok tooling which differs both in shape and construction to its inline equivalent. Heritage elements take shape thanks to air vent details which exist on the original version of the NPC and is mirrored from the medial side onto the toe box – along with monogram print footbed complete with foil label while dual branded detail appears by way of gold debossing on the suede and woven tongue label.
